To My Fellow Skeptics
by TD inokay...i'm a hardcore skeptic and i admit it.
i have no use for the supernatural at all.. having said that though, once in a great, great while i'm truly, honestly stumped.
one instance was a book i read in the early 1970's entitled, arigo: surgeon of the rusty knife.

Ray's book CoC mentions that most of the gb had a busy lifestyle and did not have a bible trained conscience, GB meetings did not involve in depth bible reading studies, rather it was decisions accomplished by votes that follow a pattern of who of most respected votes everyone votes in favour.
Spiritual babes in high positions who dictate the lives of others, and others who feel in love with the lie not wanting to put their faith to the test, rather to demonise everyone who follows the bible's counciling in putting it to the test.

The 'Last days' of the Watchtower Society - any truth in this?
by callitquits76 ini have heard this said a lot lately.
is it wishful thinking?
6 screens of the wt has this as their website banner but that website is like a tabloid newspaper..

Well, the internet has unmasked the fictional Jehovah of the watchtower bible and track society, big growth seems to come mostly from 3rd world countries, now its up to the person to put their religion to the test which is very easy now-a-days. I like how Ray puts it "Illusion will eventually meet with reality".

Thats strange, I can't find anywhere in the bible that there will be an organization on earth that uses the governing body to direct it.

As anyone watched Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass?
"Ned uses his camera to make a movie about Cain (Rod) and Abel (Todd). Everyone loves the film, except Marge, who finds it bloody. Lisa on the other hand says he's just being true to the bible which is pretty graphic. Mr. Burns decides to finance Ned's next film, "Tales of the Old Testament" (which has a running time of 800 minutes making it the third longest movie in the world). The bloodiness of the film angers Marge and she decides to protest Burns. Burns retorts, asking (in what is meant to be a rhetorical fashion) what they would use instead of his nuclear power. When everyone else mentions alternate forms of power they can use, Burns admits defeat and says the film will never be seen again. "

Car inspection woes
by Terry ini'm sure texas isn't much different from any other state.. we want clean air.
so, the auto manufacturers came up with a glorified box of charcoal that "filters" out the pollutants (simultaneously making the energy output less efficient requiring yet more fuel) called a catalytic converter.. most cars' converter lasts about 10 years.. .
i'm driving a honda accord from 1998. the coverter has given up the ghost and i don't pass the nox tests.. so.... i can't renew my registration and have to spend about $1700 to replace that stupid box of charcoal.. .

All cars here come with Cats, and its a huge fine if you take them out, it can also involve going to prison.
Oxy sensor is easier to remove when there is heat like just after you turn off the car, grabe a spanner and turn the thing anti-clockwise.

Kenneson wrote:The Cross & Crown is a traditional Christian symbol. The Bible Students are not the only ones to use it. So do Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Christian Scientists and others. Have you never heard of the motto "No Cross, no Crown"? In our local cemetery is a very prominent monument belonging to an Episcopalian lady, bearing that emblem. The symbol is apparently not exclusive to the Masons. It's kind of like the wedding ring; not only pagans wear them.
Dont you think its too much of a coincidence to have the symbol of the knight on the right hand side of the templar? It's not clear if the Knights Templar is a Mason thing or if it was later adopted by them.
The definitions for Knights Templar are:-
